Workdays
Workdays Scheduled for 2010
Every Saturday at 8 a.m.
If each
member came to one workday during the year, there would be 25 more people at
every workday.
We need help. Like many organizations, we have about
12 of our 300+ members who show up at most workdays. These 12 people would
really like to see some new faces. Many clubs in the area require
attendance at workdays before you can become a full member. We have always
depended on our members volunteering their time.
Please try to
attend as many of the workdays as possible. It's a good way to meet the
active members, find out more about the club, and have a good time. It's
also good for
your club. Did we mention the free
lunch?
Workdays generally start at 9 AM with everyone
meeting at the clubhouse to discuss the day's plans, and organize the workers.
It has been a tradition to provide lunch and beverages for the workers.
